The LNP have failed to provide any funding for our communities accessibility upgrade at Bray Park Station.
What we're fighting for:
We're fighting for the LNP to deliver the modern accessibility upgrade our community needs.
Bray Park Station was built in 1986, and our community has grown significantly since then. It's time for the station to keep pace with the needs of our community.
What an upgrade would mean for our community:
- Accessible paths, parking and bathroom access
- Improved ramps
- Assisted boarding points
- Lift-accessible footbridges
What's happened under the LNP?
Following the Strathpine Station Upgrade, Bray Park was next on the list, and was ticked off by Labor in 2024.
When the LNP came to government, they said they'd 'look into it'. Two budgets later, there is still not a cent allocated as part of Queensland Rail's plan for the future.
Additionally, the LNP have cut staffed hours at our local train stations, with no staff available on Sundays. This makes having an accessible station even more important for our community.
How can the community help?
We're calling on the LNP to fund the Bray Park Station Accessibility Upgrade so our community has accessible transport services.
