It's our public health system

In 2015-2016 the Palaszczuk government created jobs for 1940 nurses, 651 doctors, 479 extra health professionals and 54 extra paramedics across Queensland. Nikki is committed to a quality accessible and affordable health care system that has the resources to meet community demand.  Experiencing the LNPs health cuts was the motivation for Nikki to put herself forward as Pine Rivers representative. She will always stand up for health.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced a new bed-based extended treatment and rehabilitation facility for young people, will be built at our local hospital, The Prince Charles. This purpose built facility will cater to young people living with severe and complex mental health issues.

The Prince Charles has recently opened a state-of-the-art health care facility which will mean improved care for patients living with cancer. This local facility will mean patients will need to travel less when they are ill and receiving treatment.
