We’re paying too much for fuel in a chaotic fuel pricing market, and we're doing something about it.

Driving is essential for many in our community - to get groceries, drop the kids off, get to work, and get to the doctor.

📈 Brisbane has the highest fuel margins of all capital cities. Prices can jump dramatically overnight, leaving families with fewer chances to fill up when fuel is cheap.

We want to follow what's working in Perth, to flatten those peaks, and make fuel prices more predictable and more affordable.

We’ve introduced legislation to:

• Cap fuel price increases to 5 cents per day
• Require servos to notify price rises by 2pm the day before
• Lock 50c fares into legislation, so they can't be cut without notice
